Carey Lotton
Founder & Principal Designer
Carey has always been attracted to the creative process of fine art and illustration, a relationship that she often integrates into her work as a designer. These interests led to her studying studio art at Marietta College and later receiving her Masters Degree in Fine Art and Art Education from the Cleveland Institute of Art and Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
Her design approach is always rooted in her fine arts training, ultimately treating each space as a composition of parts that should work together to create a beautiful and timeless whole. Her innate creativity drives the aesthetic direction, and her industry experience ensures that the finished space provides long-term function designed with lifestyle in mind.
"In terms of my process, I am guided by the needs and desires of each client and and each unique architectural space. Great design is about authenticity and intention and a great renovation experience should be about communication, transparency, and collaboration."
